Lili Palacios-Baldwin

Lili Palacios-Baldwin is Deputy General Counsel for Labor, Employment, and Litigation at Tufts University in Massachusetts where she has worked since 2013. Lili began her legal career at Robinson & Cole LLP where she practiced in the areas of land use, real estate, and labor and mployment law, following co-ops with the Massachusetts Land Court, Equal Rights Advocates, and the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc. Lili later served as a Senior Trial Attorney at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) where she practiced for almost ten years. While with the EEOC, she litigated individual and class cases within the federal courts, conducted training and public presentations, and worked with federal investigators on both enforcement and litigation matters throughout New England, New York, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Upon leaving the EEOC and prior to beginning her career at Tufts, Lili continued her law practice with the firm of Hirsch Roberts Weinstein LLP, a Boston boutique labor, employment and litigation firm with a higher education focus.

Lili is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Northeastern University School of Law. In addition to her service to NACUA, she has been active in other community and professional organizations throughout her career, most recently serving on the advisory boards of the National Center for the Study of Collective Bargaining in Higher Education and the Professions, and WGBH (Massachusetts public radio). She also currently serves as an elected member of the Boston Bar Association's Council and previously served as Co-Chair and Steering Committee member of the BBA's College and University Section.
