Geraldine Muir Headshot
Gerry Muir serves as the Associate Dean for Student Affairs at Boston University School of Law, and is the Instructor for "Legal Issues in Higher Education" for the BU School of Education Higher Education Administration program. Prior to her work at BU Wheelock, Gerry was an Associate at Cooley LLP where she advised colleges, universities and other postsecondary institutions on issues related to programmatic and institutional accreditation, federal and state regulatory compliance, and the management of regulatory reviews and adverse actions. She currently serves as a member of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court’s Steering Committee on Lawyer Well-Being, representing the Commonwealth’s law schools.

Jeffrey J. Nolan is an attorney with Dinse, P.C., www.dinse.com, where he is Chair of the firm’s Education Practice Group. Mr. Nolan advises, trains, and represents clients and conducts investigations nationally on matters that involve Title IX, the Clery Act, threat assessment and management, the ADA, FERPA, applicable employment laws, and/or other laws that apply in the higher education context.
