Navigating the Complex Intersection of FMLA, ADA and Workers' Compensation Laws

The Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), the Family and Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”), and state workers’ compensation laws require employers to comply with a myriad of comprehensive and complicated obligations related to employees’ requests for medical or disability-related leave. This webinar will explore how these laws interact and what campus counsel can do to support institutional compliance and efficiency.

Topics will include:

Overview of purposes and provisions of ADA, FMLA, and workers' compensation laws
Process issues, including medical authorizations and return to work
Intermittent leave, telework and wellness programs
