Steve Sandberg serves as general counsel at Brigham Young University, where he directs the university's legal, compliance, and risk management and safety functions. He also serves as general counsel at three other institutions sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—BYU–Hawaii, BYU–Idaho, and Ensign College.
Before joining BYU's legal team in 2006, Steve clerked for Judge Kleinfeld on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and worked as an associate at Morrison & Foerster. Steve received his B.A. in English from BYU and his J.D. from Columbia Law School.
