Becca Gose is the Vice President and General Counsel for Oregon State University. Prior to starting that role in 2015, she served in Associate and Assistant General Counsel roles at Oregon State University since early 2010. Prior to joining Oregon State, she was an Associate Litigation Attorney in the San Francisco office of Munger, Tolles & Olson, where a portion of her practice was dedicated to representing higher education institutions.
Becca is active with NACUA. She served on the Committee on Strategic Planning as an at-large member in 2021-22, Vice Chair in 2022-23, and is currently the Chair for the 2023-24 term year. She was also a member of the 2020 Committee on Program for Annual Conference, the 2018-19 and 2020-21 Committee on Legal Education, the 2019 and 2022 General Counsel Institute Planning Committee, and the Committee on Membership and Member Services from 2011-2014. She has been a speaker or a discussion leader at several NACUA conferences and workshops. She currently serves as Past Chair for the Board of Trustees for the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation.
She received her JD from the University of California at Berkeley and her BA from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable David M. Ebel on the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
