Events for New Members

NACUA is pleased to offer events designed to help new members acclimate to their first annual conference, learn more about general higher education law issues, and meet fellow NACUA member attorneys. Whether you are a new attorney or an experienced attorney new to higher education law, we highly encourage you to attend the following events:

Throughout the Conference

Friday, June 21 – Tuesday, June 25

Small Group Dinners and Lunch

Whether you are a new or returning conference attendee, getting together with colleagues over dinner is a great way to network. We will offer conference attendees the opportunity to sign up for small group dinners and lunches at several local restaurants.

Registrants will receive an invitation to sign up for dinner and lunch the week before the conference begins. Once you sign up, all you need to do is show up at the designated time and place, meet, eat, network, and enjoy. Watch for more information about these events in upcoming messages from NACUA.

Please Note: Small group dinners are designed as a networking opportunity for meeting attendees.  Guests of meeting attendees will be considered as space allows.

Saturday, June 22 – Sunday, June 23

This comprehensive and intensive workshop is designed to provide member attorneys new to the practice of higher education law with an orientation into key areas of the practice. For more information, please visit the workshop website.
