Speaker Biographies

Sarah LukeSarah Luke is the incoming Interim Executive Legal Counsel at Brooklyn College – CUNY.  With over a decade of experience in higher education law, she provides legal counsel, fosters informed decision-making and creative problem-solving in all areas of institutional operation, instruction, research and administration. Prior to her role at CUNY, Sarah was in private practice in New York City where her work focused on private college and university clients. She has also held in-house positions at public universities in Michigan, Illinois and New Jersey. 

 

 

 


Breana Ware

Breana Ware is the Associate Legal Counsel in the Division of Legal Affairs at Kennesaw State University. The Division of Legal Affairs works to ensure the University’s compliance with Georgia law, as well as the policies and procedures of the University System of Georgia. At KSU, Breana specializes in all legal matters relating directly to students and student success and works closely with the Division of Student Affairs, Athletics, Global Affairs, and the Behavioral Response Team. Prior to joining KSU in 2019, Breana was a Senior Associate at Alston & Bird LLP in Atlanta, Georgia, where she focused on construction litigation, international arbitration, and government contracts.
