As Chair-Elect of the NACUA Board of Directors, I am pleased to invite you to volunteer with NACUA for the 2026-2027 term – through committee service and by contributing to NACUA programs and publications as a speaker or writer.
Volunteer committees are essential to NACUA’s ability to deliver high-quality programs and services each year. Especially now, given the range and pace of issues facing higher education, the expertise and contributions of member volunteers are what sustain that level of quality. Whether you are a longstanding member or newer to the association, I hope you will consider volunteering for a committee. Your insights and engagement are key to NACUA’s success.
The committee volunteer form is available online at www.nacua.org/volunteer (member login required). When filling out the form, please select up to three committees of interest, and we will do our best to accommodate your first-choice selection. Please make sure to also complete the section at the bottom of the form about your professional or volunteer expertise and experience relative to your committee(s) of interest, as it is helpful to have this information when we review committee appointments.

In addition to committee service, NACUA is also seeking volunteers to speak and write on a variety of topics. The call for speaker and writer volunteers is open year-round. If you are interested in speaking or presenting at a conference, CLE workshop, webinar, or training, or authoring a legal resource, please let us know of your areas of expertise and your interest. The volunteer form for serving as a speaker or writer is available here. New for this year, we have added more areas of expertise to the form. We look to refresh this information annually, so even if you have completed this form before, we encourage you to update your form with any more current information.
