Advanced Contracts Issues

This intermediate/advanced webinar will help university administrators and counsel develop contracts to achieve institutional goals and position their institution favorably in the event of a breach or dispute.

Topics will include:

  • Key contract terms
  • Negotiating contract terms, including indemnification provisions
  • Contract management and training
  • Advanced special issues in software contracts, click-wrap agreements, international contracts, service-provider contracts, and facilities use contracts
  • Anticipating and avoiding contract litigation

This webinar will be of interest to general counsel and attorneys involved in negotiating and reviewing institutional contracts. Other campus personnel who will benefit from this program include contract administrators, business officers, and risk managers.  Presenters will assume that participants have an understanding of contract basics and experience in contracting.
