PCCE is seeking an Executive Director to work with the Faculty Director, Jennifer Arlen, on all aspects of the life and work of the Program (http://www.law.nyu.edu/corporatecompliance).
Among other things, the Executive Director will:
Co-Organize our two Annual conferences with the Faculty Director, organize and moderate 3-4 evening panels (e.g., on cybersecurity, recent Supreme Court cases, anti-money laundering), oversee events, and help create programs for executives, members of boards of directors, and visiting foreign lawyers.
Edit and Write for our Blog
The Executive Editor manages the blog including writing a monthly blog post (600-1,000 words), soliciting and editing posts from practitioners and academics, working with the Faculty Director, Senior Fellows, Senior Academic Fellows, and Student Fellows on their posts, and overseeing the student Associate Editors.
Oversee Student Fellows’ Research Papers
Assign and supervise Student Fellows’ preparation of white papers for our events and their subsequent blog posts.
Work with Faculty Director and Assistant Director on Communications and Web Page, Budget, and other matters.
A successful candidate possesses:
- J.D. degree
- Strong interest in and experience with corporate criminal or regulatory enforcement or compliance.
- Strong organizational, writing, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
The job would be perfect for a hard-working, team-oriented, and detail-oriented lawyer with expertise in corporate criminal enforcement or compliance who wants to be part of an academic enterprise that helps to promote understanding of, and improvement in, compliance and enforcement policy designed to deter corporate misconduct through interactive discussion in off-the-record events, blog posts, and educational activities.
