NACUA Membership CategoriesInstitutional Membership
Available for accredited institutions represented by licensed attorneys in the United States and internationally. The designated primary representative for the institution receives all NACUA mailings and membership services. Additional attorney representatives (from two to ten, based on the dues category) are also entitled to all member services and receive most membership mailings. Associate Institutional MembershipIf your organization is interested in applying for Associate Institutional Membership, please contact Miriam S. Miller at msm@nacua.org to request an application. Associate Individual Membership
Available for licensed attorneys in good standing judged by the NACUA Board of Directors to have a "bona fide interest in the work of the Association and a commonality of interests with the member institutions of the Association." This category is not open to persons who are eligible to be a representative of either an institutional member or an associate institutional member, or to lawyers who represent an institution that should be a member of the Association and is not a present member. Individual representatives must be licensed attorneys in good standing; however, the representatives may not be attorneys who regularly handle, or are regularly engaged to handle (either as in-house or outside counsel), the legal affairs of an accredited non-profit institution of higher education. These individuals should encourage their clients to seek institutional membership, naming them as their attorney representatives. The annual dues for an Associate Individual Member are $520. (Please note that individuals joining after March 1 will be charged the prorated amount of $260.) |
