CLE Credits Available

Similar to the NACUA Annual Conference and Workshops, Continuing Legal Education credits are available for those who participate live in a NACUA Virtual Seminar. You may be eligible for up to 2.0 hours of CLE credit. For more information on the credit hours available, please contact Meredith McMillan (mmcmillan@nacua.org).

I would like NACUA to apply on my behalf for CLE Credit. How do I do this?

Attorneys interested in having NACUA apply for their CLE credit must complete two forms, the Certificate of Attendance form and the Attendance Record, which are included in the materials. Please return both forms along with payment of $5, per person per state requested, to NACUA by mail or fax (202-296-8379). Depending on the state's rules, NACUA will sign the form to verify your attendance at the seminar and will either process your credit with the MCLE record-keeping authority in the state(s) you provided or return the signed form to you for your records.

Please note, if you are requesting credit in more than one state you must fill out one form per state.

The current Certificate of Attendance form is not accepted in my state. What do I do?

Attorneys in some states need a specialized Certificate of Attendance form to submit to their state's MCLE record-keeping authority. Once the Attendance Records are received, NACUA will send out specialized forms to be distributed to participating attorneys. Please contact Meredith McMillan at
mmcmillan@nacua.org and let her know how many forms you need.

The states affected are: CA, FL, KY, TX, VA.

Am I eligible to receive CLE credit in my state for participating in the Virtual Seminar?

NACUA has applied to the MCLE of every state for the Virtual Seminar. Many of the states' decisions regarding granting credit for the seminar may still be pending at the time of the seminar.

Accepted: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, DE, GA, ID, IA, IN, KY, ME, MS, MO, MT, NC, ND, NM, NV, NY, OK, OR, RI, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WY, WV

Declined: KS, LA, OH, PA, SC

All other states are pending at this time.

Can I get a refund if the pending state I applied to declines?

Yes. If you are now submitting to NACUA your CLE payment and your pending state eventually declines, a refund will be issued to you promptly.
