NACUA GENERAL COUNSEL INSTITUTE: January 9-10 - Hotel Monteleon - New Orleans, LA

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

NACUA is pleased to announce a new program designed specifically to address the concerns and issues facing the in-house General Counsel of a college or university. Regardless of whether serving as sole counsel or heading an office comprised of several other attorneys, the chief legal officer of a college or university faces unique challenges commensurate with his or her unique responsibilities. In keeping with the Association's strategic priority to provide programs of special interest to institutional General Counsel, the Institute is an opportunity for in-house General Counsel to learn from and with their peers from around the country .

Panels will be lead by and composed of experienced General Counsel from a variety of institutions, public and private, research, religious, large and small. Each session will be accompanied by written materials designed to provide registrants with useful, practical information they can take from the Institute and apply and adapt to their own offices and institutions. The program will also feature small discussion groups to provide an opportunity for in-depth and continued conversation on specific topics of interest, and networking events to provide registrants an opportunity to meet and confer informally.

Take advantage of this special program designed for you as the General Counsel of your institution. For applicable institutions, Deputy GCs are welcome to attend along with the General Counsel or in his/her stead. We look forward to seeing you in New Orleans!
