Parker is General Counsel at Miami University. Ms. Parker has been with Miami University
since 1994. She received her B.S. in Education from The Ohio State University and her J.D.
from The University of Tennessee.

Karen J.
Stone is Vice President and General Counsel for the University of North Florida, a
position she has held since 1992. Previously she was an Associate General Counsel at the
University of Florida. Prior to beginning her career in higher education law, Ms. Stone
was engaged in private practice and also previously served as corporate counsel to
Athletic Attic Marketing, Inc. Ms. Stone has served on numerous NACUA Committees and
currently serves on the Nominations Committee. Ms. Stone recently completed a 3-year term
as an at-large member of the NACUA Board of Directors. Ms. Stone holds a B.A., M.A., and
J.D. from the University of Florida. |
John J.
Reilly (Moderator) is Associate General Counsel at the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio.
Mr. Reilly's area of practice is college and university law, with a concentration in
business services, student affairs, law enforcement, licensing and environmental issues.
Prior to coming to the University of Akron, Mr. Reilly served as Associate Counsel for
Case Western Reserve University and as Associate Legal Counsel in the Office of Legal
Affairs at The Ohio State University for several years. Mr. Reilly received his B.A. from
John Carroll University and his J.D. from the Ohio State University. |
